Human factors in accidents of airships

AB  - Airships represent a type of transport vehicle possessing great potential for the development of
various branches of industry. They can provide probably the greatest comfort in transporting passengers in
relation to all other means of transport, which makes them particularly suitable for different tourist
arrangements. However, today the use of airships is almost inversely proportional to their capabilities and the
potential they have. One of the reasons for such a situation is certainly the safety aspect of airships. The
unfortunate cases from the past have largely affected the demand for this type of transport. This paper aims to
investigate to what extent the human factor was the reason for the occurrence of accidents with airships. Based
on the insight into the literature and documentation related to accidents of airships, it can be concluded that the
human factor did not have a large share in the occurrence of accidents involving this means of transport.
However, the prevention of accidents in the future requires a more complex ergonomic analysis that should
include a segment of human factors in all parts of the system that are related to the design, use, driving, control
and testing of airships and their personnel.

AB  - Ovaj rad razmatra načine na koje ergonomija može da doprinese unapređenju kvaliteta edukacije i obrazovanja. Primenjen je globalan pristup ovoj problematici, što znači da su razmatrani različiti aspekti primene ergonomije u podizanju kvaliteta edukacije. Identifikovano je nekoliko osnovnih segmenata, u kojima ergonomija može doprineti unapređenju kvaliteta obrazovanja, kako kod dece školskog uzrasta, tako i kod studenata. Zaključeno je da rezultati ergonomskih istraživanja u ovoj oblasti predstavljaju dobru polaznu osnovu koja omogućava kreiranje odgovarajućih ergonomskih dizajnerskih i drugih rešenja, usmerenih na rešavanje postojećih problema u ovoj oblasti.
AB  - This paper considers the ways in which the ergonomics can contribute to the improvement of the quality of education. The global approach has been applied to this problem, which means that are discussed various aspects of application of ergonomics in improving the quality of education. Several basic segments have been identified, in which ergonomics can contribute to improve the quality of education of students. It is concluded that the results of ergonomic research in this area provide a good starting point that allows the creation of appropriate ergonomic designing solutions, aimed at solving the existing problems in this area.

AB  - The cognitive models of information processing represent a multidisciplinary phenomenon with potentially
great practical application. They are of great importance for improving the process of education, training, ergonomics,
design of man - machine interface, robotics, as well as for other scientific disciplines. In this paper, different structural
models of information processing which are often cited are topic of consideration. Structural validity of Smith's model, as
well as the validity of some other information processing models has been analyzed. As a result, it has been concluded that
almost without exception these models have a certain disadvantage. Main disadvantages reflect in the absence of certain
structural components, their positions in the models, as well as in the flow of information between components. This
indicates the need for further work in this area, with the aim of creating a model of information processing that would be
able to provide answers to certain questions and problems that people of different specialty have in practice.
