AB  - Priručnik iz tehnologije obrade rezanjem namenjen je inženjerima, a posebno studentima kao pomoć pri izradi projektnih i ispitnih zadataka iz predmeta Tehnologija mašinogradnje nekada (do 2008. godine) i danas Tehnologija mašinske obrade, kao i iz drugih uže stručnih predmeta koje slušaju studenti proizvodnog mašinstva na osnovnim i master akademskim studijama Mašinskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu.
U prvom delu priručnika dat je formalizovan koncept za projektovanje i izbor tehnologije obrade rezanjem metala, koji je ilustrovan odgovarajućim primerima, dok drugi deo sadrži bogat sistem podataka, koji se odnose na:
(i) mašinske materijale i materijale reznih alata,
(ii) sistem kvaliteta i tačnost obrade,
(iii) obradne sisteme,
(iv) sistem podataka koji obuhvata režime obrade i
(v) sistem podataka, koji se odnosi na funkcije obradljivosti.
Ovaj priručnik, u pogledu svog sadržaja, predstavlja ravnotežu između klasičnog pristupa sa pokušajem da se svaki proces determiniše, i savremenog pristupa koji maksimizira izlaze i pojednostavljuje primenu. S druge strane, očekuje se da se znatno pojednostavi rešavanje određenih složenih inženjerskih problema, posebno prilikom projektovanja tehnoloških procesa obrade metala rezanjem.

AB  - Rad, pored toga što daje rekapitulaciju sprovedenih opsežnih istraživanja koja se odnose na automatizovano projektovanje obradnih sistema i tehnoloških procesa u industriji prerade metala, posebno prezentira naučne rezultate u domenu razvoja automatizovanog tehnološkog prepoznavanja mašinskih delova, zasnovanog na primeni veštačkih neuronskih mreža. Značajan naučni doprinos u ovom radovu odnosi se na implementaciju i verifikaciju softvera sopstvenog razvoja „BPnet_V1.0”, koji je korišćen tokom tehnološkog prepoznavanja tipskih tehnoloških formi na prizmatičnim delovima, čime je potvrđena njegova široka primena, kao i važna upotrebna vrednost u razvoju naučnog podmlatka izražena kroz izradu njihovih magistarskih teza.
AB  - This paper, in addition to giving a recapitulation of the extensive research conducted related to the automated design of machining systems and manufacturing processes in the metal processing industry, especially presents scientific results in the field of the development of automated feature recognition of machine parts, based on the application of artificial neural networks. A significant scientific contribution in this work refers to the implementation and verification of the self-developed software "BPnet_V1.0", which was used during the feature recognition of typical manufacturing forms on prismatic parts, and confirmed its wide application as well as its important use value in the development of scientific research expressed through the preparation of master's theses realization.

Topography and Phase Images Investigation of the Used RGP Contact Lens Inner Surface

AB  - Growing interest in biomaterials manufacturing and surface technology has prompted in an investigation of contact lens (CL) surface based on fractal approach, using JSPM 5200 instrument for measurement and MatLab software for image processing. Topography and phase images were recorded in order to investigate surface roughness and properties after an extended period of CL wearing. Since there is no strong recommendation for RGP CL wear period, wearer's reports on the end-stages when they notice that vision is deteriorated, vary considerably. The authors` aim is to point out that time is merely a commercial category for RGP CL replacement and that only significant changes in surface properties render such replacement necessary.

Fractal Approach for Substrates Surface Topography Image Evaluation

AB  - It is well known that bio/non-bio interface between the living tissue and the artificial object is established through its surface. The main physical attribute of these artificial objects made of biocompatible materials is surface roughness. Surface characterization, as a part of the coating characteristics, needs to be defined in order to describe the surface complexity. The roughness of coatings and substrate surface was found to demonstrate fractal properties. This is why fractal dimension is suggested as a parameter for the evaluation of contact lens surface topography
images.

AB  - In recent years, computer-aided engineering (CAE) techniques have been applied increasingly with great success in metal forming research as well as in the forming industry. Possibility to obtain loads, stresses, velocities and other forging process parameters, gives significant role to the finite element analysis. By using one of the most famous contemporary system for nonlinear analysis - DEFORM TM the influence of preformed billet shape in the cold forging process has been analyzed. It is shown that optimization and computer-aided process modeling could lead to
significant reduction of production resources and energy.

AB  - Današnji razvoj sistema za projektovanje tehnoloških procesa (CAPP), orijentisan je na uvođenje novih ideja baziranih na naprednim tehnikama veštačke inteligencije. Naime, savremeni CAPP sistemi imaju zadatak da uvođenjem veštačke inteligencije u modul za tehnološko prepoznavanje i grubo projektovanje tehnoloških procesa smanje projektantsko vreme. U radu je data analiza ove nove primene veštačkih neuronskih mreža, uz prezentaciju postupka formiranja binarnih vektora koji definišu tipske tehnološke forme, kao i njihove kompleksnije oblike, sa ciljem da se predstavi jedan od modula novog pristupa projektovanju tehnoloških procesa.

AB  - This paper carried out exceptional implementation of ART-1 neural network in the analysis of the manufacturing similarity of the cylindrical parts within the group technology design. Established concept of the group technology design begins from the complex part of the group or the group representative. Group representative has all the geometrical elements of the parts in group, and manufacturing procedure may be applied to the machining of any part in the group. The complex part may be realistic or a hypothetical one. The ART-1 artificial neural network provided manufacturing classification according to the geometrical similarities of work-pieces for the group of cylindrical parts. For the manufacturing similarity identification within the group technology design, software "ART-1 Simulator" is developed and presented in this paper.

AB  - Sredinom ovog veka za inženjera proizvodnog mašinstva je rečeno da je obrazovan, uvežban i iskusan poslenik u tehnologiji i organizaciji i da je kompetentan da prepozna faktore koji utiču na izradu proizvoda. On vodi tehnološke procese razvijanjem efektivne koordinacije napora kojima treba dostići potrebnu tačnost, proizvodnost i ekonomičnost. Ovde je to interpretirano egzistencijom modernih tehnoloških sistema koje karakterišu: agilnost, sinhronizacija, fleksibilnost i modularnost. Zasnovan im je prapočetak morfološkog prostora, procenjen im je sadašnji status i
popisane su neke njihove osobine. Na jednom primeru je pokazano kako je na Mašinskom fakultetu u Beogradu postavljen metod projektovanja i gradnje komponenata jednog proizvoda.
AB  - In the middle of this century, the production engineer is said to be educated skilled and experienced worker in technology and organization and competent to recognize factors which have effect on manufacture of products. He leads manufacturing processes by developing effective coordination of strengths which are necessary to obtain required accuracy, productivity and
economy. Here, it is interpreted by existence of modern manufacturing systems which are characterized by: agility, synchronization, flexibility and modularity. Its morphological space is defined, their present state is estimated and some characteristics are listed. It is presented on one example how the design method and component building of one product is established at the
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade.
