dc.description.abstract | The paper presents a case study of dump trucks work efficiency testing as well as identification, classification analysis and risk assessment. The aim of the research was to determine the most common reason for unplanned stoppages in the observed dump trucks and to evaluate them from the aspect of risk after classifying the stoppages according to dumper systems. In the research, a semi-quantitative method was used for risk assessment, considering that the set criteria, the downtime and the frequency of stoppages, were taken based on the results of measurements over a period of 18 months, while a ten-level descriptive scale was used for the criterion of the level of danger. The results of the research indicated that there are certain systems on the observed machines that are of moderate risk and for which additional preventive maintenance measures are proposed in order to reduce the risk. The research results are visually presented three-dimensionally, given that three criteria were used for risk assessment. | sr |
