dc.description.abstract | A numerical method was developed for the analysis of the stationary and non-stationary operation of distillation columns, for mathematical model based on the concept of a theoretical tray and the ideal mixing of the phases on the tray. The approximation of the phase equilibrium equation by its Taylor polynomial is used for solving the system of equations representing the mathematical model of the column. The method was successfully applied in the analysis of the multi-component azeotropic mixtures distillation. | en |
