A new experimental approach to the calibration of hot-wire probes
Abstract
Numerous calibration points of the hot-wire probes provide better measurement precision. This is, on the other hand, a time consuming process. Calibration and measurement time is limited by the hot-wire probe sensors 'characteristics, influenced by various causes. In this paper, one calibration method is described, which provides numerous calibration data for the same time period as in the classical method. A new calibration method is presented for two and four wire probes.
