Finite element model for stress state analysis of deep groove ball bearings with defects
Апстракт
In the framework of Industry 4.0, new specific or improved methods formonitoring and prediction of operational conditions of machine elements are required.Ball bearings are among the elements with high impact on safety and reliability ofmechanical systems operation. Hence, the development of accurate methods for theirworking conditions monitoring is one of the important tasks within this framework. Inthis paper, the development of 3D Finite Element Model for deep groove ball bearingswith defects on ring races is described in detail and its place in the new monitoringmethods is discussed. Special attention is paid to the modeling of contact finiteelements and selection of FEA parameters for fast and secure convergence duringnon-linear calculations. The stress analysis of contact zones with defects and influenceof variable defect dimensions are presented, also.
