Da bi se izvršila obrada materijala, krtih po svojoj prirodi, neophodno je preći sa nivoa makro na nivo mikro obrade. Sa druge strane, to je neizvo- dljivo bez jasno definisanih mehanizama mikro rezanja koji važe za pomenute materijale. Doktorska disertacija usmerena je na formiranje mehanizama mi- kro rezanja mermera Plavi tok i granita Jošanica i Bukovik. Predloženi mehanizmi eksperimentalno su potvrđeni metodama utiskivanjem utiskivača pri statičkom dejstvu sile utiskivanja i mikro rezanja (grebanja). Ispitivan je uticaj faktora koji potencijalno deluju na proces mikro rezanja, među ko- jima su: brzina mikro rezanja, dubina prodiranja alata i vrednost radijusa zaobljenja vrha alata...
In order to process the brittle material, it is necessary to move from the macro to the micro cutting level. On the other hand, this is unfeasible without clearly defined micro cutting mechanisms applicable to these materials. The doctoral dissertation is focused on the formation of micro cutting mechanisms of marble Plavi tok and granites Joˇsanica and Bukovik. The proposed mechanisms were experimentally confirmed by the methods of Static indentation and Micro cutting (Scratching). The influence of potentially affecting factors on the micro cutting process was examined, among which were: micro cutting speed, depth of cut and tool tip radius. A mechanism of the Static indentation method was proposed and subsequently experimentally confirmed on the basis of which, on the one hand, the formation of an indent in the ductile mode was created, while on the other hand, the development of the cracks that lead to the brittle separation of the material in the brittle fracturing mode was explain...ed...
