Mogućnosti primene optičke Doppler tomografije i optičke koherentne tomografije
Combined application of the optical coherence tomography and Doppler principle enables noninvasive byopsy of the examined tissue. Accomplishable resolution is almost histological, and introduction of Doppler principle extends the amount of gathered information with respect to optical coherence tomography alone. As those methods employ the principle similar to that in ultrasonic tomography, with the difference of applying the near infrared light instead of ultrasound, they are affected by tissue scattering properties, particularly that of the blood. In this paper, first the principle of the optical coherence tomography is explained. Then, introduction of Doppler principle and taking the picture of the elements of Mueller matrix are considered.
