The main features of the finite time stability concept have been extended to the linear regular time-invariant singular systems operating under the perturbing forces. In comparsion to the previous results, based on the Lyapunov like concept, for the first time the matrix measure approach has been applied yielding the sufficient conditions of this type of stability for aforementioned class of systems.
