In this paper one of possible working regimes of a hydroelectric power plant is investigated. Analysis of sequential turbine starts and their implementation is one of modern approaches that should be taken into account during building of a new energetic system. In this paper results of simulations and analyses of sequential turbine starts in a hydroelectric power plant „Pirot“ are presented. Those results are compared to a regimes that are currently used in that system. Equations that describes simulations are shortly presented along with method that is used for their implementation.
