dc.description.abstractThis paper presents comparison of results obtained by dynamic pressure transducers, which measure fast pressure changes during transients, installed on experimental setup for investigation of water hammer and its side effects, unsteady friction, cavitation, column separation and fluid structure interaction (FSI). Apparatus, situated at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica, is comprised of high presusurized tank, steel pipeline and outflow tank. Four dynamic and four absolute high-frequency pressure transducers are positioned within the valve units along the pipeline. Results of the dynamic and absolute pressure measurements are compared and analyzed. Proposals for the future improvement of experimental setup are given.sr
