IMS as a basis for TQM application in Serbia or TQM in Serbia – reality or fiction
Апстракт
Total quality management (TQM) as an advanced quality management (QM) model has been applied worldwide, particularly in developed countries. In Serbia, quality management based on ISO 9001 model is the dominant approach found in industrial application. This is also indicated by the fact that there are about 3500 certificates for quality management systems (QMS) in Serbia today. This paper presents the analysis and synthesis of a good practice for quality management systems (IMS) and effects on the development and implementation of TQM models in our country.
