dc.description.abstractThe safety of children in traffic is a global problem. The education of children is the basis of improving their safety in traffic. However, new times bring new ways of education. For the above reasons, experimental research was carried out in which it examined how the designed traffic playground can be used in the education of children about traffic safety. For research purposes, a traffic playground was designed in a real and virtual environment. 60 children between the ages of 7 and 10 participated in the experiment. The recognition of the elements of design traffic playgrounds, as well as the behavior of children when crossing the street in a virtual and real traffic environment, were examined. Children have a higher percentage of correct answers in the virtual traffic environment than in the real traffic environment.sr
