dc.description.abstractProblem that is not very common but very dangerous for steam boilers is the furnace tube failure during exploitation and usually that caused by some defects base material or exploitation condition. In this particular case, during exploitation leakage was observed in steam boiler wave furnace tube, and accordingly steam boiler was repaired and inspected fallowing all relevant procedures and standards. Used standards are very important in order to achieve the necessary quality of welded joints and their applications are also discussed. Welding was performed with manual arc welding (MAW) technique, and inspection was performed on the welded surface. Hydro-testing (pressure testing) was also carried out. The causes that led to the burner pipe failure are also discussed.sr
