dc.description.abstract | Towards a digital measurement twin (DMT) this paper presents an off-line DMT for CMM based on DMIS file. The measurement system based on CMM DEA-IOTA-2203 was used as a physical twin, and a virtual machine, generated after modelling and configuring in PTC Creo software of both the machine itself and the prismatic parts and fixture clamps, was employed as a digital twin. .ncl (DMIS) file was generated by programming the measuring path and simulation of the virtual CMM for standard types of tolerances in PTC Creo software and Manufacturing module. The analysis of the metrology of the measuring part, the bearing carrier, for the given forms of tolerance (location, perpendicularity, flatness, total runout) was performed. The components of the measuring machine and the assembly with defined kinematic connections are modelled. After simulation and generation of the output DMIS file in PTC Creo using virtual CMM, the real CMM DEA ‒ IOTA-2203 was programmed and measured on it. After the measurement, the measurement report is generated as a basic document with verified values, which unambiguously gives an insight into the true quality state of the measured part dimension. Consequently, the result of this paper is off-line DMT based on DMIS file. | sr |
