In today's in almost all sectors of mechanical engineering is increasing use of free form (sculpture) surfaces in the product design process, more for esthetic than functional requirements. When it comes to the design and development of the free form surface is indispensable use of CAD/CAM systems. Obtained tool path is a crucial element to sufrace quality of the machined surface and the total machining time, which directly affects the cost of the created part. The paper gives the procedure to optimize the toolpath by maintaining a constant cutting force for the process 3-axis machining with ball-end mill, and experimental verification of the simulation results.
