This paper presents a procedure for simulating the accelerated aging process of a material during the operation of an atmospheric burner used in a gas heater for domestic use. The test was performed under the conditions of the prescribed controlled high temperature, for defined intervals of the expected heat load, when using the prescribed gaseous fuel, with continuous monitoring of the surface temperature of the flame ports surface.
