dc.description.abstractIn this paper is presented modeling and simulation of measurement path in – process inspection in the case of measurement prismatic parts on CMM. The path modeling consist from the developing mathematical model for distribution of measurement points and nodal points, the defining of optimal probe path by ants colony and simulation of the measurement path.. The purpose simulation of inspection is visually check from standpoint collision and generate the measuring protocol and program code at the output, which among other things, contains data about the coordinates of the measuring points and the nodal points. The advantage of this approach is reduction of the total measurement time by reducing the time required to the prepare measurements in in-process inspection of metrological complex prismatic parts.sr
