The influence of the low-voltage capacitor dielectric material on the capacitive probe response in the nanosecond range
Апстракт
This paper investigates the influence of the low-voltage capacitor dielectric material on the capacitive probe response in the nanosecond range. It was inferred which types of microscopic material structure, i.e. types of frequency characteristics of the material, would best suit the purpose. The capacitive probe with optimal characteristics was designed. An experimental system was formed, with the probe incorporated into the I-element of the pulse power generator (PPG). Measurements of the probe response in the nanosecond range were verified by numerical simulation. The use of materials with electronic polarization as low-voltage capacitor dielectrics confirmed the conclusions regarding their suitability for this purpose.
