The fact that bimetal material possess ће features which cannot be ensured in monometals, contributed to the realization of their practical significance in the conditions of application. The introduction of various thermomechanical and laser processing contribute to it. The research of the possibility of making stripes of bimetal by the procedure of cold rolling of low carbon steel with copper and Cu alloys made possible achieving ог new bimetal material with better characteristics of resistance and deformation, higher resistance to wearing, low specific density, higher resistance to the creation of cracks etc. This paper considers ће structural changes which occurred on two bimetal materials (lower carbon steel and two types of brass of different chemical composition). Тће effect ог different regime of deformation оп improvement of mechanical characteristics was followed. The changes in the brass texture were taken into consideration with the intention to find out ап equal distributio...n ог texture components. The structure ог the change which occurred by a ruby laser drilling were followed by scanning by and electron microscope SEM. The forementioned investigations had the goal to determine thermomechanical and laser regimes in order to get optical mechanical and structural characteristics of bimetal materials.
