For the realization of a bumper crop of soya beans, it is also very important to
provide the right food for plants. Modern cultivation of soya beans implicates the use
of the different types of fertilizers as well as the different ways of their introduction to
soil. In this work was investigated the influence of mechanized application of liquid
starter fertilizer, besides the use of conventional mineral fertilizers. The prototype of machine had been adapted to the existing planting machine with which the application
of liquid starter fertilizer along with the seeding was enabled. The liquid starter fertili zer was applied in strips through the entire row, in quantity of 50 l·ha-1 and 75 l·ha-1.
The obtained results show that the harvest of soya beans grain on the parcel where the
application of liquid starter fertilizer was done, was higher for 1,15t·ha-1 in comparison
with the control parcel.
