A New Method for Tool Condition Monitoring in Turning Operations Based on Fuzzy Clustering of Wavelet Coefficients
Апстракт
In automated manufacturing processes tool condition monitoring becomes one of the most important issues, which leads to the higher performance and reliability of the manufacturing system. In this paper a new method for tool condition monitoring based on hierarchical fuzzy clustering of features obtained by discrete wavelet transform of acquired signals correlated with cutting force is given. Proposed method is experimentally verified and some of the results of experiments are illustrated.
