dc.description.abstractIn this paper was demonstrated a examination of thermal transmittance of the PVC window frame of six cavities with double glazed glass filled with argon using THERM software. The numerical simulations were performed to determine thermal transmittance, temperatures and heat flow fields for a window. Experimental examination were carried out for verification of numerical simulations using hot-box method. The comparative analysis showed good agreement between experimental and numerical values for thermal transmittance.sr
