dc.description.abstractThe nonlinear feedback control system applied to the direct current - DC motor is proposed in this research. Nonlinear mathematical model has been obtained using dead zone, Coulomb and viscous friction. The system stability has been analyzed using Lyapunov stability theory. The effectiveness and the comparison of the performance between linear and nonlinear control algorithm have been validated using Matlab/Simulink software. From the conclusions, based on the simulation and experimental results that have been provided, it is easy to see that nonlinear control systems are more suitable and have a better reach for controlling position. The validity of using feedback linearization in DC motors has been proven.sr
