dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the hierarchical intelligent control of an anthropomorphic industrial robot through the application of artificial neural network systems, which is based on an empirical control strategy. For the purposes of realizing this new control strategy, the original "BPnet" software was developed, which is completely elaborated in the paper in accordance with experimental results for the robotized assembly task.sr
