The digital twin is a digital replica of physical data, processes, systems, and
a digital simulation of reality, which can be used for various purposes. The concept of
the digital twin provides an efficient way to cyber-physically integrate production,
and optimize business processes and operational production procedures, thus achieving
a new higher level of productivity. Digital twins can use data from sensors installed
on physical objects to represent their status in real time, operating condition,
or position. Two examples of digital twin development are presented, the first is
based on static setting of a model and the second is based on dynamic setting.
