dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a short summary of the researches conducted in past few years concerning the MMCs with A356 Al-Si alloy matrix and different second phase. The results are divided in two groups. In the first group are the results that concern the influences of amount and size of reinforcement (Al2O3), and in the second group are the results that concern the influences of type of reinforcement (Al2O3 and SiC) and graphite.sr
