dc.description.abstractThe present paper describes the numerical and experimental methodology for the analysis of stress and deformation state in structural elements with geometrical discontinuities. Research is based on structural elements of the connection lug type and stress and deformation state. Numerical analysis is conducted by applying the finite ware package. Experiments are performed at the Laboratory for Stress and Deformation Measurements, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Belgrade, using GOM equipment the framework of the paper.en
