Benchmarking and maintenance
Apstrakt
Često nazivan industrijskom špijunažom, ili besramnom krađom ideja benchmarking poslednje decenije prošlog veka dobija sve više pobornika koji smatraju daje, kao jedna od metoda simultanog inženjerstva, nezaobilazan prilaz poboljšanju sveukupnog organizacionog ustrojstva svake firme. Ovakve ideje nisu zaobišle ni procese održavanja, kako organizacija koje su specijalizovane za održavanje raznih tehničkih sistema, tako ni organizacije kod kojih održavanje ne predstavlja dominantan (glavni) proces. U radu su navedeni primeri organizacija koje su primenom benchmarking metode postigle zapažene uspehe, kao i mogućnost primene u sistemima (procesima) održavanja.
Although often called industrial espionage or shameless idea robbery, during the last decade benchmarking gets more and more protagonist which believe that, as one of the concurrent engineering methods, it represents inevitable approach in companies overall organizational structure improvement. Such ideas hasn't bypassed maintenance processes as well as in companies specialized for maintenance of the technical systems, thus in companies which doesn't treat maintenance as main process. This paper shows examples of some companies that through use of the benchmarking, achieved remarkable successes. It also threats possibilities for use of the benchmarking in the maintenance processes.
