Modern technologies of database system in maintenance
Apstrakt
Sedamdesetih godina projektovanje informacionih sistema bilo je više veština nego nauka. Kasniji, buran razvoj informacionih tehnologija, a pre svega odgovarajućeg hardvera, doveo je do logičnog porasta zahteva za novi softver. Istovremeno, pad relativne cene hardvera u odnosu na njegove performanse, kao i masovnija primena računara u svim oblastima, inicirali su razvoj softvera kao najznačajnije komponente u projektovanju informacionih sistema. Razvijene su, takođe i metode za projektovanje informacionih sistema, novi modeli baza podataka (relacioni model), kao i nove tehnologije povezivanja računara. Sve ove tehnologije ne treba da zaobiđu i sisteme održavanja u domenu informatičke podrške.
To design database systems in 1970's was rather a skill than a science. The rapid development of database technologies that followed first of all the appropriate hardware has brought about the logical increased requirements for new software. At the same time, drop in relative prices of hardware in relation to its performances, and a larger application of computers in all fields have initiated the software to develop as the most important component in designing database systems. Database system designing methods, new database models (a relating model) as well as new computer linking technologies have also been developed. All these technologies should not exclude the maintenance systems in the domain of database support.
