3D modeling and motion analysis of the Maltese cross (Geneva) mechanisms
Abstract
The paper presents a several 3D computer model of the Maltese cross (Geneva) mechanism. In purposes of examination Maltese cross mechanisms project contain three type of 3D computer model of the Maltese cross mechanism. The main goal of this project is improving present and acquiring new abilities and skills of solving a mechanical systems computer modeling problems. In addition, the project aims to present the importance of the strong co-relation between classical mechanical engineering and up to date modern methods of optimization and modeling using computer graphics which play a key role in the project. Finally, this project incorporates the motion, i.e. kinematical and dynamical analysis which is documented and presented by several movies.
