Dynamics, failures, redesigning and environmentally friendly technologies in surface mining systems
Abstract
Failures caused by heavy duty conditions, as well as the changes of technological requirements, are basic reasons for the redesign of specific substructures of the high performance machines (HPM). This paper presents solutions of reconstruction and comparative stress analyses for original and redesigned representative HPM subsystems. The efficiency of these reconstructions is unquestionably confirmed by experimental investigations as well as failureless service of mentioned subsystems.
