dc.description.abstractThe goal of this paper is comparative research and analyses of experimental observed data about single and serial linked wire rope absorbers as junction of ideal spring stiffneses. Basic characteristics of these absorbers are nonlinear behavior and big amplitude dumping of loadings. Also, hysteretic behavior is experimentally approved caused by wire ropes loaded by quasystatic and dynamic shocks initiations. Performances and actual using practice of these absorbers shows the best applications for dumping of high shock loadings and, also, harmonic loadings aimed for relative small displacements. For these using purposes basic capabilities have been testing for serial linked wire rope absorbers regarding their different design performances. Serial linked absorbers have been tested by press loadings quasystatic and impact shock loadings both by dynamical forces. Based on experimental data and known expressions for equivalent serial linked ideal stiffness their combination has been tested experimentally and behavioral model is derived.en
