Experimental reanalysis of a construction of rotary excavator
Апстракт
The diagnostics of construction strength represents the basis for sanation and reconstruction of equipment. It encompasses the analysis of states, behaviours and compliance of the construction, as well as estimation of residual strength, working life, working regime and scope of revitalization. Analysis of states, diagnostics of strength and compliance of the construction, imply the computerized calculation with application of the finite elements method, with application of classical procedure and experimental measurements. Discovering and removing the root cause of the problem requires the application of numerical-experimental diagnostics of elements strength. This approach enables determination of the actual behaviour of a construction, reliable prognosis of construction reaction in exploatation conditions, derivation of choice and decision parameters, determining the root cause of poor behavior or compliance of the construction, the estimation of exploatation life and time period of... reliable operation for a construction. The problems that emerge during construction exploatation primarily arise from insufficiently adequate geometry design. Moreover, they are often caused by insufficient material resistance to initiation and growth of cracks, especially in welded joints. Also, both stated factors are often simultaneously present. In engineeing analysis of loaded constructions, the application of elaborated methodology is inevitable. It is justified with very low application costs followed by very high quality of results.
