AB  - In electricity generating systems with high penetration of i-RES, the ability of change the
power on demand has increasing importance. Following recently published Ulrich’s and Schiffer's
approach with assured capacity; in this paper is defined term total assured capacity and is further
applied together with dispatchability indicator and possible duration of load change to indicate
dispatchability of Serbian power system (EPS). The results of the performed analyses are presented.
Total assured capacity appears as very sensitive indicator and its numerical value changes
significantly if, in the hypothetical case, one technology e.g., lignite fired power plants have to be
substituted with the other technology like wind turbines. An overview of participation different
technologies for electricity generation within Serbian power system is presented together with a
comparison with German power system. Numerical values of dispatchability factors for EPS’s fossil
fueled power plants are presented and discussed. It is underlined the necessity of a specific project
study for EPS’s power plants to be performed aimed to define real technology possibilities, limitations
that are conditioned by the quality of lignite, as well as the cost increase that arise in satisfying the
needs to change the power on demand in conditions determined by hypothetical increase of i-RES
electricity generation.

AB  - Large investments, research efforts and time have been allocated till nowadays for innovation of agricultural tractors and machinery, with the primary aim to increase their productivity, reliability, durability, as well as the environmentally friendly, safe and easy usage. Following this general trend, present work is focused on theoretical analysis of the forces acting on the links of the three-point hitch mechanism. The simulation algorithm and computer code have been developed for calculation of draft forces by two methods (following ASAE D497.4 standard and Goryachkin approach), depending on the three point linkage geometry and mouldboard technical characteristics, and calculation of forces acting on lower and upper links of three-point hitch mechanism. Calculated forces values, based on ASAE draft, exposes smaller differences compared to experimental values, while for the Goryachkin method improvement is possible by entering experimental values for soil resistance coefficient k and coefficient of dynamic resistance s, as we did in this study performing measurements on the aggregate comprehending tractor IMT 539 (IMT Belgrade, Serbia) and two furrow moldboard plough PTO 2.25 (OLT, Osijek, Croatia).

One-Dimensional Diffusion Equation for the Particle Size Distribution of Perlite Filter Granulation

AB  - Many filtration systems employing perlite granulations have been designed so far. Size distribution of perlite particles directly influences the retention properties of filter media. The information on the size distribution of perlite particles, used in each specific dead-end filtration process (the flow of fluid being filtered is perpendicular to the surface of filter medium), is crucial for the adequate design of filter medium. In order to facilitate the design of filter systems possessing filter media of this kind, a new and particular mathematical model has been developed for this present study. It is based on an appropriate partial differential equation and additional mathematical conditions, whose solution is an exponential function describing the probability density distribution of perlite particle sizes. The formulated model was experimentally verified by measuring the particle sizes of a perlite granulation using the morphometric method, based on the application of a standard light microscope and digital image analysis software. The fitting procedure of experimental data gave acceptable values of accuracy parameters - high R-square factor (R-2 = 0,905) and small value of the root-mean square error (MSE = 0,490).

AB  - This paper exposes the new and contemporary approach in lectures delivery at the course on Mechanism Design at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. Since students already obtained and elaborated the analytical methods of mechanism analysis at the courses of Mechanics, we have accepted and utilized the geometrical and synthetic approach with emphasis on mechanism classifications, their kinematic characteristics, synthesis, computer 3D 
modelling, simulation, motion study and visualization of the mechanisms operation. As an example, this paper disclose and explain this new approach in lectures and exercises delivery on the study of planar four-bar linkage mechanisms. The complete classification of this type of mechanisms is obtained on pure geometrical criteria into following twelve classes: double cranks, crank-rockers, 
crank 0-rockers, crank π-rockers, rocker-cranks, double rockers, 0-rockers cranks double 0-rockers, 
0-rocker π-rockers, π-rocker cranks, π-rocker 0-rockers and double π-rockers. All mentioned mechanism classes are modelled, and their operational, kinematical and dynamical characteristics are obtained and visualized by SolidWorks motion analysis. This method offers students of mechanical engineering the improvement in practical knowledge and skills in mechanism design, as well as in the use of commercially available software (SolidWorks), especially in the field of computer aided design, simulation and motion study of mechanisms.

AB  - This paper presents a unique technical solution of berry fruit harvesting by 
accurately controlled pulsations of air flow. A special harvester, which induces strong 
turbulent fluctuations of atmospheric air from both sides of the plants, has been 
designed and tested in the past fifteen years. It is towed behind a tractor, but also 
equipped by own diesel engine that drive all hydraulic components and, indirectly, the 
fan, pulsating air flow control units, machine leveling system and fruit conveyer. The 
study is focused to operational parameters of the harvester, technical specification and 
design.

AB  - This paper explains the basic principles on which the walker
mechanism for the rehabilitation of injured people is functioning. This
paper presents the mechanism geometry, kinematics of its work as
well as the appropriate model and simulation obtained by the
software package SolidWorks. This work can be applied to the design
of medical devices for the rehabilitation of persons with injured
spine, paraplegics or those who have difficulties in walking due to
cerebral apoplexy.

AB  - Diatomaceous Earth, also known as diatomite, diatomaceous silica, or kieselguhr is the material of natural origin which is composed of the skeletons of diatoms, single-celled algae, which are accumulated in huge beds. Some diatomite's are industrially processed and used for different applications most frequently as filter aid. Particle size distribution of any filter granulation, composed of these materials, has to be appropriately prepared. A mathematical model of particle size distribution of a kieselguhr granulation is presented in this paper and experimentally verified. Particle sizes of a kieselguhr granulation are measured by the microscopic morphometric method, ordinarily used in the experimental microbiology, and the empirical probability density function (pdf) of particle sizes is formulated Experimental pdf data are fitted according to the exponential function, which represents a solution of a developed model of differential equation. The fitting procedure followed the iterative algorithm of Levenberg-Marquardt to adjust the parameter values. This way, an experimentally determined pdf can be approximated with an analytic function with a small number of constants in the adopted model of fit function. This approach facilitates further modeling and analysis of filtering mediums. Based on the particle sizes, pdf's of different kieselguhr, and perlite granulations, it is possible to determine an optimal medium mixture (containing different filtration granulations), depending of the filtration requirements.

and conditions is formulated and presented in this paper. Derived

AB  - Nanofiltration is separation process which involve both steric and electrostatic partitioning
effects between membrane and external solution. Filtration is one of the last invasive processes; it
does not require inclusion of any additives. During the last years, new membranes and modules
for nanofiltration are developed, specially to meet purification requirements in biomedical
application. This paper provides an overview of recent developments in membrane technology,
focusing on same special nanofiltration membrane and process characteristics. Future
developments of nanofiltration membrane techonology are also discussed in order to be able to
meet the growing needs in solving the problems in biomedical field.

AB  - Rad prikazuje i objašnjava konstruktivne detalje evolucije zaprečno-impulsnih mehanizama časovnika kroz vekove. Kao posebno značajni, istaknuti su sledeći mehanizmi: krunski točak, vreteno i balansna poluga, kotvene zaprečnice sa povratnim trzajem, mirne, slobodne, a posebno njihove podvrste - gravitacione i hronometarske zaprečnice, kao i engleske i švajcarske zaprečnice sa ankerom. Objašnjena su sva bitna geometrijska, kinematska i dinamička svojstva pobrojanih grupa mehanizama, kao i uticaj tih svojstava na ravnomernost hoda časovnika.
AB  - The paper presents and explains the evolution of details design of the clock escapement mechanisms through the ages. As particularly significant, the following mechanisms are emphasized: the crown wheel (verge & foliot), anchor recoil, deadbeat and detached escapements, and their variations - gravity and chronometer escapements, as well as the English and Swiss lever watch escapements. All important geometrical, kinematical and dynamical properties and the influence of these properties on the clock accuracy are explained.

As particularly significant, the following mechanisms are emphasized: the crown wheel (verge & foliot), anchor recoil, deadbeat and detached escapements, and their variations - gravity and chronometer escapements, as well as the English and Swiss lever watch escapements. All important geometrical, kinematical and dynamical properties and the influence of these properties on the clock accuracy are explained.",

AB  - The methods for compensation of the clock pendulum thermal dilatation presented in literature are based on combined analytical and experimental procedures. As a rule, the mass center position is always compensated analytically with sufficiently large factor of safety, while the refinements are obtained experimentally. An analytical method has been studied for the pendulum thermal compensation which considers not only the mass center but also the pendulum mass moments of inertia of the first and the second order. Fast and efficient mathematical method as well as the practical constructive solutions are presented which allow the technically acceptable thermal compensation of the long period compound pendulum. The proposed calculation procedures are iterative and fast converging, which make them suitable not only for the design of vintage "wood rod - lead bob" pendulums, but also for the modern pendulums which feature rods thermally compensated by invar alloy. Moreover, the proposed principles and methods are useful in all scientific measurements where the effect of thermal noise must be minimized or even eliminated.

AB  - Remontoire mechanisms are subassemblies of mechanical time keepers, frequently seen inside of large tower and public mechanical clocks. The most important purpose of these mechanisms is to supply a secondary, smooth and constant source of power to the escapement and thus to increase the clock accuracy. This paper explains the design, solid modelling and motion simulation of the gravity driven train remontoire mechanism. The design is based on kinematic analysis of the mechanism operating cycle, which is presented in all necessary details. A three-dimensional model is built and motion simulation of this device is accomplished and demonstrated by the using of Solid Works software. Since old public church and tower clocks are considered as historical monuments of Serbia and many other European countries, results of this analysis and simulations can offer valuable information and practical instructions for their reparation, preservation and maintenance.

AB  - The hydraulic and power perfomance tests of the renovated Kaplan turbines at units A1 and A2 in HPP Ovcar Banja are performed in site for three different net heads. On the basis of measured propeller curves for constant runner blades openings the combinatory characteristics are determined and the combinatory links are defined too. The obtained characteristics are given in this paper. Special attention is given to the Winter-Kennedy discharge measurements by using the calibrated discharge coefficients. Discharge coefficients are, also, determined by the Index test. The values of obtained discharge coefficients by the Index test with calibrated discharge coefficients are compared. The used measurement procedures gave the best opportunity for the units optimal efficiency operations.

AB  - U ovom radu je prezentovana nova metoda za automatsku mikrostrukturnu analizu materijala. Metoda je bazirana na prepoznavanju kontura i dekompoziciji digitalne slike na osnovu fotometrijskih zakona, kao i na primeni log hiperbolične distribucije. Ova metoda je uspešno primenjena za mikrostrukturnu analizu neizotermski sinterovanog barijum-titanata.

The method is based on contour recognition and decomposition of digital image, according to their gray scale intensity and the use of log-hyperbolic grain size distribution and it has been successfully applied on microstructure analysis of BaTiO3 sintered under non isothermal conditions.

AB  - The revitalization of hydro-aggregates should be performed before the life-time expiry of most their parts. But, as in our practice aggregates have been under exploitation much longer then theoretical life-time advices (40, even 50 years), there is a need to estimate the equipment's condition through more sophisticated monitoring, providing the maximum level of safety and availability with minimum investment expenses, before the revitalization finally takes place. That estimation is based on appropriating calculations and measurements needed to take the competent decision. Results of that analysis can be also useful for estimation of the aggregate's power and parameters after the revitalization. In this paper the results of appropriate calculations and measurements for the Hydropower station HE Zvornik are given.

AB  - Ovaj rad izlaže dokaz, zasnovan na metodi prostorne restitucije, da geometrijsko mesto Lagerovih tačaka perspektivnih eliptičnih involutornih nizova predstavlja dva kruga. Osim što daje doprinos teoriji Projektivne geometrije, izložena teorema omogućava veću efikasnost konstruktivnih postupaka i kompjuterskih algoritama osne rotacije objekata u centralnoj projekciji.
AB  - This paper discloses the proof, based on the method of the space restitution that geometrical loci of Laguerre's points of perspective elliptical involuted ranges represent two circles. The exposed theorem is a contribution to the theory of Projective geometry; moreover it makes the constructive methods and computational algorithms of an object axial rotations in central projection more effective.
