In this work, experimental welding of three plates were performed in order to obtain T-joint.
Material of plates was aluminium alloy 5754-H111. All phases of the welding process are
monitored by visual control. The finite element method is used for numerical analysis of
temperature distribution in the friction stir welded aluminium plates. Thermo mechanical 3D
model of T- joint is presented.
