The paper presents a part of the process of designing a contextual adaptive model for risk prioritization of transport and mining machines. The paper discusses the impact factors specific in different context conditions from the point of view of the risk of interruption of the work process, safety and health at
work of employees and the impact on the near and far environment of technical systems. A decision support system has been designed that takes into account the identified impact factors with appropriate weighting factors such as to represent the decision model. A decision - making model has been set up in the form of a hierarchy of criteria and sub - criteria for prioritization of transport and mining machinery risk.
