State and potentials of use mechanization in vegetable production in Serbia
Abstract
Vegetable production is one of the most intensive industry crop production, indicated by the size of the yield per unit area, earned income, net income and the share of human labor. To achieve high yield and get a quality product, the most important operations in the primary production of vegetables, after preparing the soil, is seeding. This paper presents the technical indicators of sowing devices that significantly affects the quality of sowing. Great progress made to improve the operation and functionality of existing planting equipment and seeder themselves related to the calibration of seeds that must be achieved by applying prescribed legal and appropriate standards.
